Anne Carroll George was a former Alabama State Poet and cofounder of Druid Press, (find out more on the interview page) who has published four volumes of poetry, and she was been nominated for several awards, including a Pulitzer Prize. Anne wrote numerous short
stories for literary magazines, before turning to the craft of mystery
writing, for which she won a coveted Agatha Award. Her hilariously funny novels reflect much of her own
